I have discovered that this problem only occurs in windows In windows 7 and Ubuntu this problem does not occur. So it's not a hardware issue or anything it's something with windows 10, or perhaps the HD. It your computer shuts off when using stress testing software like this, then it still means that your CPU is not stable under full load.
It's kinda interesting that it happens while downloading stuff though, so I'd try to monitor temperature of the hard drive as well while downloading, with HW Monitor. Check to see if you've got WindowsModulesInstaller running when this happens. Last edited by Falcoman ; 9 Feb, pm.
