And I checked the other discs that work. And you say that the game disc is corrupted, when it looks clean. You mean all other discs work fine on your PS4 except that particular disc? If my understanding is correct, you have to try that disc on another console and check whether it works properly or not. Experiment is what you have to believe here.

Ok, I have found out that only that particular game does not work, other games are running fine. Even the slow down did not occur since then. Now, the game just enters loading screen, then an error shows up, saying the game data are damaged or what and I need to redownload the game. I tried it, and it did not help. So, I am thinking that I just give up on the game cuz I am not sure I wanna do the intializing since it would take time just backing up my data and then I would have to redownload all the games and stuff.

Then I found out I need either external drive case or pc motherboard to do the full format and I have neither. There was a grand theft auto disc in the console which was dirty I ejected the ga. It disallow me to play other digital games. My guess is to see if it will read any diac, delete Nd reinstall fortnite.

It reads it and realizes what game it is but when it goes to copy application data at the very end of copying the application data it spazzes out and says Cannot Start the Application CE then has an X over the loading bar on the home screen.. This seems to be a symptom of a bad sector on the hard drive. This is the only way to fix bad sectors on hard drives. Ok, so you have tried to play the already-installed games and they worked properly. But have you tried to download any other game? I want to make sure first whether it is the hard drive or it is the WW2 only. This requires you to first download another game and check whether it works or not. Im trying to download red dead redemption 2 and in the middle of it downloading it.
